Our client is a privately owned mid-tier property group in operation for over 25 years with a diverse portfolio across retail and industrial focused on long-term growth through selective acquisitions and a strategic development pipeline. They are entering an exciting phase of change as the founders/owners looks to gradually step-aside. Focused on this transition, they are looking for a talented person to assume responsibility for property management and development with the owners.
The applicant will be working with a long-run focused and well-managed organization. This environment offers the ideal candidate the ability to both grow their role, experience and level of responsibility in partnership with the owners stepping back. You will demonstrate the ability in providing the best in class tenant services, including tenant and vendor relations, property maintenance, construction management, capital projects and tenant improvements, budgeting and monthly property reporting. As part of this transition, insourcing and integrating an external service provider is essential. Longer term, the successful candidate will partner with the owners in evaluating key development opportunities with anchor tenants.
The working environment at the Company is hands-on, commercially focused with a partnership approach to all stakeholders. The successful applicant must be able to work with little direction, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
You will have exposure to property services and development in (possibly) a larger organisation and be looking to make your own mark in the industry with an agile player. You will be looking for a long-term career move into an entrepreneurial environment where your focus on building your reputation for client centric service delivery will be your defining trait. A Triennial Certificate will be required in the near future.
A salary commensurate with your experience will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
